GUIDED TOUR OF SAN GIMIGNANO
Departure by private transfer from Deustour Point - Marina Cala de Medici towards San Gimignano.
Arrival and 2-hour guided tour of the city.
Our local guide will at our service, ready to help us explore the city. The tour begins in Piazza Duomo, where most of the medieval towers are concentrated, and then continues along the city’s main medieval street called Via San Matteo.
We will continue until we reach the Church of Sant’Agostino, built at the end of the 13th century, with splendid Renaissance frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli.
We will then head back toward the city centre through some side streets, stopping to admire the view from the ruins of the Montestaffoli fortress.
The tour will end at Piazza della Cisterna, surrounded by incredibly well-preserved medieval towers and palaces. Independent lunch and afternoon to be enjoyed at your leisure.
Departure at approx. 18:00 from San Gimignano by private transfer to Deustour Point - Marina Cala de Medici.
